Tim Bigelow | Chairman
Chairman
For more than 25 years, Tim has been creating digital communications and embedded software for the aerospace and defense industries. In the early years of his career, he witnessed firsthand the challenges large companies face when they need external program support: difficulty finding talent with the right expertise, distributed team communication, schedule misalignment, project cost overruns and more. He also recognized an opportunity to change the rules of engagement and set the standard for on-time, on-budget performance and true partnership in engineering services. In 1998, he founded Performance Software to do just that and the company has been helping clients find a better way to program success ever since.
Tim served as CEO of Performance for 15 years. Under his guidance, the company expanded into five major market segments in aerospace, growing to $30M in total sales. Tim serves as Chairman to the Performance suite of companies.
Raj Ghate | CEO
CEO
Raj is an aerospace veteran with more than 20 years of experience serving top-tier suppliers in a multitude of capacities. His cross-functional experience spans engineering, contracts and product marketing, and includes individual contributor roles as well as executive roles in sales and marketing, business development and general management. His diverse and extensive background gives him an invaluable perspective that allows him to drive the organization, its leadership and strategy to give clients the best from Performance.
Mike Johnson | Head of Products
Head of Products
A results-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in avionics and healthcare, Mike has provided technical and program leadership on small- to large-scale development and test avionics programs across numerous functional areas such as displays, cabin entertainment, flight management, braking and flight controls. He has also provided technical and program leadership on multiple healthcare programs in the computed tomography and ultrasound modalities. Mike is currently responsible for overseeing the growth of Performance’s suite of products.
Craig Anderson | Hardware Operations Leader
Hardware Operations Leader
Craig is an aerospace executive with more than 25 years of experience leading avionics and mechanical product development within Honeywell Aerospace and GE Aviation prior to joining Performance Studio. Craig’s leadership ability to rally teams to solve critical technical and business challenges is one of his biggest assets he brings for the setup and execution of this startup company focused on avionics product design and delivery.
As the Operations Leader responsible for engineering, manufacturing, and partner development, his passion for launching new products has enabled early technical and financial success for this new enterprise. He prioritizes a healthy balance of empathy and drive within his leadership style. Craig understands where team members are in their lives in order to support them when conflicts arise while continuing to hold them accountable to company goals. He encourages his team to reach their goals and celebrates their “wins.”
Craig graduated from the University of Missouri Science & Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering and earned an MBA form Arizona State University. He chose to join Performance because of the company’s entrepreneurial spirit and an opportunity to live his dream of building and leading a successful new business from day one.
